This tutorial is for Ubuntu 12.04 Server. While the instructions are probably the same for other versions of Ubuntu Server (and, maybe, for other Linux Server distros), I make no guarantee. In previous versions of Ubuntu, there were small differences between the kernel used for the Server and Desktop versions. In Ubuntu 12.04, there is no longer any difference.
